The 3D printer Titan Aero Upgrade Heat-sink is an aluminum heat-sink designed to replace the radiator used on the hot-end assembly. The Upgrade Heat-Sink is a direct replacement for the plastic cover on a Titan and comparable extruders.
The Aluminum heat-sink reduces the height (adds Z-Axis printing capacity) to the whole extruder/hot end assembly. This is accomplished by replacing the radiator normally used on the heat-break tube to keep the filament from melting outside the hot-end heating zone. Depending on the original radiator you could add up to 45-mm more printing height (Z-Axis) to your printer because of the reduced height of the extruder/hot-end assembly.
